A report documenting the strategic thinking and design of a new approach to improve the adoption of nutrition-related practices, transform gender roles and improve family dynamics in households with children under two years old. The report includes a discussion of the differences between Enhanced Community Conversations (ECCs) and the traditional Community Conversations, the use of family-friendly creative concepts to improve communication with smallholder farming communities about the first 1000 days of maternal and child nutrition, the multi-media package of SBCC materials used in the ECCs, and the overall process, outcomes and lessons learned during implementation.
