Growth through Nutrition Midterm Evaluation Program Review Report

On the 11th of March, 2020 - Save the Children U.S finalized an internal mid-term evaluation of the project activity's overall performance using a quantitative research study and program review.

The below document covers the findings from the latter and provides a learning opportunity to various key stakeholders. The evaluation looked at the project’s achievement of targets, integration between project interventions, whether enhanced community conversations (ECC) resulted in key behavioral outcomes, quality improvement (QI) site maturation, private sector WASH sales, national capacity building, and the reliability of the Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) implementation.

The evaluation used a mixed-methods methodology consisting of project documentation and secondary data, key informant interviews (KII) with senior project staff, and documentation from woreda-level consultative program review meetings and the report also highlights some identified implementation gaps and potential remedial recommendations.
